About Elizabeth
I came to psychology the way most of us come to the things that save us, through needing them first.

the story
I grew up watching people achieve remarkable things and still carry a quiet sense that it was never quite enough. I was one of those people. That gap between what you have done and how you feel about yourself, that is what brought me to clinical psychology.
I trained at Makerere University, earning my MSc in Clinical Psychology with distinction and first class honours. I work clinically at Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital, and I recently completed my EMDR Level 1 certification, sponsored by Trauma Aid Netherlands.
Clear Yo Mind grew from a simple conviction: psychological care in Africa needs to be accessible, affordable, and culturally honest. I co-founded it to close that gap. It has its own website. What you are reading now is me, separately.
This personal site is where I write, coach, speak, and build toward the book. The Psychology Behind Never Feeling Good Enough is about self-concept change as the true antidote to chronic inadequacy, not more achievement, not more proof.
Achieving more is never the cure for never feeling good enough. The self-concept, not the CV, is where real change lives.

what i believe
Psychology should be available in the language and culture you actually live in.
Achieving more is never the cure for never feeling good enough.
Your nervous system is not broken. It learned.
African wisdom and evidence-based psychology belong together.
The self-concept, not the CV, is where real change lives.
